My first foray into doily making. It's a bit on the chunky side, but I did manage to figure out this fan/scallop type stitch that I've wanted to know how to do for a long time now. So I'm pleased about that at least.Materials: cotton thread, freshwater pearl, copper wire, acrylic cord.
nice shape and the purple is a nice grandma doily color...(or at least my grandma who used bargain basement colors like bittersweet brown, dark purple, mint green, and acid yellow)
ReplyDeleteI think I have all those colors! I'm continuing my studies and can even read crochet patterns now, which is great as there are all these old patterns for free online...
