This week might be "Stuff I Found Around the Target Parking Lot" week. The drop above was once a solid shard of a cd, but it broke again in transit. I just stitched it back together.
Materials: recycled cd, silk shawl tassels, glass beads, linen and acrylic cords, rayon ribbon.

I found these staple like things on the street, a source of endless bounty if you look at it the right way. I don't know if red was the right choice of color, but today felt like it could a spicy one, so here it is.

Okay, my purple challenge week is over, but I became intrigued with using the chenille. Reminds me of marabou feathers. So I ended up with a real Cousin It special. Like the felt balls, it looks like it could start breathing and scurry away.
Materials: rayon chenille yarn, rayon ribbon.

Last day of purple. I've been through the whole rainbow now. I hope that was as nice for everybody as it was for me. The heart in the center is another treasure harvested from the street. You never know what you'll find until you look.....

More snow. More wind. More cold. Broke out the chenille again in hopes of making something warm and cozy.

This is a picture of a necklace that no longer exists in this form. As I was walking back to the house, I dropped it on the sidewalk and the little bottle dashed to bits. Now it's a memory. It was also another kind donation by my sister. Good thing I took a picture because it did last longer!
Materials: now extinct little jar of amethyst chips, fiber optic beads, cotton and acrylic cords.

Another crocheted necklace, something to keep warm with at the end of this blustery cold winter.
