I was at a loss for a moment as far as another orange thing goes. I ended up recycling an old painting and putting a little fancy on it with some crude embroidery.

More felted wool balls. There's something sweet and animal like about them, they almost look like they could breath or sigh.

Happy February! We're getting closer to spring despite what all that snow says... Playing around with knotting fabric, I've tried this before with solid color shantung silk, that was quite nice too. Broke out some vintage glass beads from the stash as well.

One whole month! Only 11 more to go.....I'm liking this experiment, the making of things is becoming a daily practice, there's less judgment and/or anxiety about the commercial value or what people will think. My necklace time in the morning is just about playing around and being satisfied with a project being done.

2nd day of orange. This is from a plastic bag that was the former home of a mess of grapefruit. I love the sober looking legend of "TEXAS" on one of the grapefruit. All on a copper coil. I love the color of copper, and it's said to have healing properties as a material.
Materials: twisted copper wire, brass wire, printed plastic bag, cotton and linen thread.

Now we're into orange. This is a mash up of scraps. An abandoned necklace, and a little glass crucifix made by some nice hindus in India.
Materials: amber, dyed quartz, jasper, glass, cotton and linen treads.

Okay, I'm done with red. I started this last Friday. I'm moving on to orange tomorrow.
