More felted wool balls. There's something sweet and animal like about them, they almost look like they could breath or sigh.
Materials: felted wool, glass beads, cotton and linen cord.

    Love this, especially how you stitched that trio together off center, nice touch . . . have you ever seen Spirited Away, the Japanese cartoon of the little spoiled girl who gets whisked away to a fantastical dream realm, sort of an Alice in Wonderland story? These cute little wool balls remind me of the soot balls (except more brightly colored of course) The soot balls are these darling little animated balls of soot who have big round eyes and talk to each other in excited squeaks and carry bits of coal to throw in the bath house furnace. If you haven't watched it, I would recommend it--I think you'd enjoy it.

    I haven't seen that movie, I'll have to check it out. My niece said the same thing about those little critters the other day....
