Happy Mother's Day to all of you mothers out there! Especially those of you with children!
Materials: peony, knockout rose, cat mint flowers, rayon ribbon, found hanger.

    that is so magnificent and mommie-ish too. I love peonies. Mother's Day is right about the time when the most beautiful flowers are out, which is probably why they timed it to that day. I remember my Uncle coming over on Mother's Day with a big bouquet of lilacs from his garden. They were so incredibly fresh and fragrant and I loved how they looked, with dew still on them, hastily wrapped by him into black and white newpaper pages.

    Nice. We just finished lilac season, and there is something quite special about their smell. I think I've read somewhere that lilac is the one of the most difficult scents for perfume makers to duplicate.....
