I found this cheerful little plastic ball out walking with my niece a while ago. Just rediscovered it cleaning up around my desk. I tend to develop geological layers on my work surfaces, so things can go missing.... Materials: found plastic ball, glass beads, wire, rayon ribbon.
Nice zing with the opposite color of blue as the 2nd bead. A nice cat toy as well. Does the ball still bounce with the beading/ribbon on it? Did you drill it to get the string thru? Or it must have been a very long needle?
This is my attempt, (and it will either kill me or cure me!) to step away from my commercial training in costume jewelry. To develop a way of creating that is more of a meditation, a practice. One necklace, every day for a year.

ReplyDeleteThis is a real low rent hollow plastic ball, so no bounce here. all I had to do to get the wire through was just puncture with a scissor each end
