An old polyester resin piece that I cast myself many years ago. After working with metal and wood so closely, I'm starting to rediscover plastic. I can see why it was invented and what an exciting material it must have been when it first came out. Materials: hand cast plastic, rayon ribbon.
This is my attempt, (and it will either kill me or cure me!) to step away from my commercial training in costume jewelry. To develop a way of creating that is more of a meditation, a practice. One necklace, every day for a year.
Just stopping by--everything is looking great!
ReplyDeleteI love the contrast of the delicate, golden ribbon with the compact little man. He has a very wise, mysterious expression.
Thanks so much! Your comments always give me something to ponder on. In a good way!
