This is inspired by some kind of Japanese shrine token, a gift from a dear friend. I used a scrap of cedar for the base and added a drop or cedar oil besides so it smells quite nice as well.Materials: cedar, sari scrap, rayon rope, cedar oil, thread.
Cedar is one of my favorite scents--someone told me recently that it's considered a holy scent.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorites too. There is something miraculous about it, I remember smelling my first cedar closet as a wee one, it was amazing.
